A founding partner of Advantage Audio, Inc., Jim draws upon 30 years of experience gained working in the entertainment industry as a recording engineer and re-recording mixer to provide the creative strategies that make Advantage a leader in the industry.

He was one of the first re-recording engineers to use "Build-To-Mix" techniques in producing audio sound tracks for animated television shows. With hundreds of shows to his credit, Jim has won a few awards along the way as well: Four Emmy Awards for Re-Recording Mixing and three Emmy Awards for Sound Editing.

When Jim is away from the studio he enjoys spending time with his wife Jeannine, raising their twins (Jada and Braeden) and experiencing Red Shift on his very fast BMW motorcycle.
