GORDON SUFFIELD
GORDON SUFFIELD
As a boy, Gordon was enamored by the sound of hockey pucks echoing in the rafters of his favorite arena. That, and a few dozen puck impacts to the head, inspired Gordon to pursue a career in sound recording.
After a half decade of recording music in the dark studios of Los Angeles, Gordon longed for daylight and checks that wouldn't bounce so he began freelancing for Screenmusic Studios, doing dialogue cast records for your favorite cartoons. Gordon continued on at Screenmusic for 6 years as dialog/ADR mixer and, eventually, as the facility's Chief Engineer.
After the sale of Screenmusic, Bill and Jim found Gordon wandering in the streets muttering insane ramblings about DAW latency and took pity upon him.
Gordon now resides in our state of the art ADR suite with a 2.85 goals against average and a .900 save percentage.
In the wake of Bill’s retirement he has also taken on the mantle of Chief Technical Engineer, and carries the awesome responsibility of keeping all the modern technical marvels that litter the studio in proper running order.
